Why do you need a ‘pre-season’ payment?
Think of this as an investment in the farm. Pre-season payments are used to purchase seeds, field amendments, and help pay for labor when we’re not yet in the growing season. This investment earns you a share of the farm’s harvest.
What if I am unable to pickup on a certain week?
Share the veggie love and send along a friend to pick up for you! We do not hold produce or switch pickup days/times.
What vegetables will be in each weekly share?
It’s a surprise! Each share will reflect the seasonality of the field but you can expect early shares to include lots of salad mix, leafy greens, and turnips while the end of the season will include storage veg like carrots, cabbage, and kale.
Can I request substitutes for certain items?
We try and keep everything as streamline as possible and do not offer substitutions at this time.
Delivery?
We only offer delivery for our Flower CSA shares.
How do I Pickup?
We will send a email at the end of June with specific details for each location. Look out for our email and please reach out if you do no receive it. Distribution will start the first week in July. Please bring a bag or box to put your produce in!
It is important to note that the CSA model is designed so both the farmer and members share the inherent risks (inclement weather, insect/pest pressure, crop failure, etc.) as well as the delicious bounty associated with farming. It does not guarantee a certain amount, or specific types of produce per season. We’ve been growing since 2019 with no giant farm catastrophes yet! so we are fairly confident we will be able to offer diverse and full value shares throughout the harvest season.
